N. Chandrashekar, a final year law student of Osmania University was a promising student. He had just four months left to complete his course but unfortunately he too died in the car mishap, says the principal of the Post Graduate College of Law, Osmania University. “He was the brightest student in our college, who could have become a Supreme Court advocate in the near future,” the principal and other faculty members said.
He along with three other friends who hailed from the Rangampet area of Warangal district, was heading for a New Year party at Shamirpet in the city on Saturday night, when their car was hit by another four-wheeler. Chandrashekar, and two others were killed in the accident, Athik, a third year law student and friend of Chandrashekar, said, “Chandrashekar never used to smoke or drink and in fact he was a guide and mentor to all of his friends including those of us who were with him when he met with the accident.”
“Chandrashekar was the brightest in the college and he was an inspirational figure for all other students. It was unfortunate that he left us. He was about to appear for his ninth semester exam on January 3,” said Dr G.Vinod Kumar, director and vice-principal of the PG College of Law, Basheerbagh. The Students Bar Association of the Osmania University also condoled the death of Chandrashekar.
