The Osmania University has postponed its PG (MA/ M.Sc/ M.Com), MBA, LLB, BE exams scheduled for January 30 due to the bandh call. The MBA, BE, LLB (3-year) exams will be held on February 1, PG exams the next day and LLB (5-year) exams on February 3.

Meanwhile, about eight activists of the Osmania University Joint Action Committee and Tel-angana Students Joint Action Committee on Sunday stopped an RTC bus near Ramanthapur Doordarshan TV tower and damaged its window panes by hurling stones. Later, after evicting passengers, they set it on fire. The activists and political parties have called for a state bandh on Monday to protest the desecration of Ambedkar statues.
