The Hindu Education Plus in collaboration with Abhyaas is organising an awareness seminar on ‘Law – A Career Choice' from 10 a.m. on Sunday, January 22 at DAV Public School, Safilguda. The seminar will feature experts who will focus on law as a career option and future prospects.

In Andhra Pradesh, the number of candidates appearing for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is steadily on the rise. While just about a couple of thousand students had appeared for CLAT-2008, their numbers rose to about 5,000 odd in 2011. This year the figures are slated to rise further. Students from AP comprise 25 per cent of all CLAT candidates.

This year the 14 national law schools will admit students through the CLAT and about 1,100 seats are up for grabs. Second year Intermediate students are eligible for the CLAT. These and many more issues around CLAT and law will be discussed by the experts in the seminar.

The seminar will provide an opportunity to parents, students and others who want guidance for a career in law. For clarifications: 9989235073.
